A Great Supply and a Tremendous Pattern

The Lord's move in Germany has been supported in many ways by saints and churches all over the world, but the beginning of the Lord's current move here could easily be traced to Taiwan and Brother Wu's strong burden and word to a generation of young saints to sacrifice their own plans and desires to become a part of the Lord's move in Europe, and specifically Germany. Many came from Taiwan several years before the saints began to immigrate from North America. Some enrolled in graduate programs in top universities all over Germany, and some took jobs and began to raise their families here. But all were motivated by a heart for the spread of the Lord's testimony in this land that was greatly encouraged by our brother Wu. These ones helped lay a strong foundation for what would follow. In many places, the coming of a large number of saints in the years 2016-2019 was made much easier and more productive by the presence and sacrifice of these dear saints.

Since the wave of migration from both the East and West in 2016 and thereafter, there has been the additional support of trainees, serving saints, and even coworkers coming from Taiwan to blend and labor side-by-side with the ones from the West. Brother Wu strongly encouraged this blending, and learning to serve in one accord, following the pattern that was established during the Lord's move in Russia 25 years before. We brothers in Germany feel that much of the Lord’s blessing on the labor in Germany over the past 3 years has been the result of this blended, and very sweet labor in oneness.

We also are deeply grateful for all the financial support that has flowed to Germany from Taiwan. Properties have been purchased or rented for the purpose of supporting the Lord's move, and many workers have been supported. This has been a great supply to the work and also a tremendous pattern for the younger ones among us. How our hearts have been lifted again and again by this supply.

We will miss our brother greatly, a true bond-slave of Christ. May the Lord comfort his family and all the saints in the Far East, and may many more such given brothers be raised up to sustain and strengthen the Lord's work and move on the whole earth that He may quickly come again.
