In Memory of Brother Paul Wu-Faithful unto Death in Serving the Ministry

Brother Wu deeply knew Brother Lee's burden for the whole earth, in which he felt sorry for the Lord's recovery not having been rooted in Europe. Therefore, he desperately sought for the churches in Taiwan to coordinate with the churches in the West.

From 1977 to 2000, a big group of saints was sent out to join the propagation of many countries of Eastern Europe. It really touched me that before they went abroad, they had fellowship with Brother Wu, who cared about everyone's life and family members. He indeed had each one of them on his heart.

Brother Wu always gave full support in every way to the Lord's needs and move today, such as: the need of a training center in London, propagation of His testimony in France, the gospel move and the spreading of the Lord's testimony in Germany through the tide of refugees, purchasing of a good land named Gut Elim in central Germany, cultivating the habit of pursuing ministry books for the Chinese-speaking saints, etc. He even cared nothing about his own life and visited Europe with fellow coworkers city by city several times so that he could explore and work with the Holy Spirit further.

Concerning Brother Wu's last public fellowship before his departure, he as usual encouraged the young people to answer the Lord's calling to go throughout the entire world. Brother Witness Lee dreamt that there will be 500,000 young people raised up in Taiwan to be sent to knock on doors for preaching the gospel throughout the entire world to welcome the Lord's coming back. Brother Wu was the one who would always carry out Brother Lee's dream.

He was just like Epaphroditus, who was recommended by the apostle Paul: “My brother and fellow worker and fellow soldier, and your apostle and minster to my need... Because for the work of Christ he drew near unto death, risking his life, that he might fill up your lack of service toward me” (Phi. 2:25-30). Indeed Brother Wu never stopped giving his very best even unto death. We will all miss him and will be inspired to follow his pattern of being faithful unto death!
